Description

Hydranautics reverse osmosis membranes.

Reverse osmosis is a process that removes particles having a molecular weight of 100 to 200. This process is perfect for the removal of substances such as: metal ions, acids, sugars, colorants, natural resins and ions. Hydranautics RO membrane offers varying degrees of flux and rejection characteristics, specifically suited to treat multiple and diverse water treatment applications.

Thanks to Hydranautics’ constant Research and Development determined by utilizing two R&D centers in the U.S. and Japan, Hydranautics’ consistent focus on technology continues to produce the most innovative and effective membrane products for the water treatment industry. ISO 9001:2000. This demonstrates Hydranautics’ commitment to quality and customer satisfaction by achieving consistency and improving internal processes. Four Hydranautics manufacturing centers and facilities have been located in the U.S., Japan, China, and Italy. These four facilities, in addition to its network of offices and warehouses, provide 24-hour technical and sales support with efficient and timely response to customer requests and orders.

Hydranautics Membrane Lines

SWC (seawater membranes)

As the world faces freshwater shortages, Hydranautics brings a range of RO membranes from SWC to meet the demands of the desalination industry. SWC membranes have improved productivity and salt rejection for more than two decades, while reducing their environmental impact. SWC membranes come in a range of innovative formulations depending on the level of seawater salinity required.

CPA (Composite Polyamide)

Ultrapure water is essential in several industrial applications. CPA RO membranes are considered the industry standard for all high purity applications, from the pharmaceutical industry to the power industry. CPA lines of RO spiral wound membranes are available in a variety of sizes and offer unmatched performance with higher salt rejection rates.

ESPA (Energy Saving Polyamide)

The energy required to pressurize the feed water of a reverse osmosis plant is the largest contributor to the total energy consumption of the water treatment plant. As a result, chlorine-tolerant membranes have helped membrane technology become more cost-effective, reducing the energy consumption required to operate the RO system. ESPA membranes are the choice for applications that demand high energy efficiency, with productivity without lowering quality and good salt rejection.

LFC (low fouling compound)

LD Technology's innovative LFC3-LD low fouling membranes combine the attributes of a neutrally charged surface with hydrophilicity to achieve the lowest organic and colloidal fouling in the most demanding feedwater conditions. Combining the attributes of a neutral surface charge and hydrophilicity, LFC3-LD provides a significant reduction in fouling rates that increases membrane efficiency by restoring nominal performance after cleaning.
