PRICES

 

  • Prices quoted are EXW ex factory.
  • Prices, specifications and product data are subject to change without notice.
  • Carbotecnia reserves the right to cancel any negotiations with its customers, as well as to suspend product delivery in case the customer has not paid yet, is late in payments or defaults.
  • The customer will pay the shipping costs.

 

TERMS OF SALE

 

  • Prices may be in local currency or in U.S. dollars, which shall be stated in writing in the quotation.
  • Products quoted in dollars must be paid in dollars, or in pesos at the exchange rate published on our website www.carbotecnia.info or if not published, the exchange rate to be used is the Citibanamex selling rate on the day of payment.
  • Prices do not include VAT. This tax will be added to the invoice.
  • Installation, training, consulting and start-up are not included in the price of the products and will be charged additionally.
  • Customers who are in arrears in their payments will not be delivered merchandise until the credit and collection department authorizes it, based on a written commitment from the customer.
  • Specially manufactured products and equipment requested by the customer will be subject to the terms and conditions detailed in the quotation, and will require an advance payment to be determined by Carbotecnia on a case-by-case basis.

 

CANCELLATIONS

 

  • The customer shall make in writing any request for cancellation of an order, stating the reasons.
  • Cancellations of regularly inventoried merchandise can be accepted, but cancellations of orders for merchandise that Carbotecnia needs to purchase or produce, as well as those corresponding to special projects, are not accepted.
  • Carbotecnia reserves the right to authorize any cancellation.
  • On cancellations authorized by Carbotecnia, one of the following charges, whichever is greater, will be made: (a) 20% of the invoiced value of the goods cancelled; or (b) The sum of the expenses incurred by Carbotecnia before and after the cancellation, including, but not limited to, the amount equivalent to materials, labor, administrative processes, engineering work, work in process and any other expenses incurred by Carbotecnia in connection with such order.
  • The refund will be made within a period that does not affect the liquidity of Carbotecnia, and by check or bank transfer payable to the name of the individual or entity that made the purchase.

 

SHIPPING

 

  • Orders will be processed until the corresponding proof of payment has been received at the e-mail [email protected] In case there is authorized credit, they will be processed after receiving the purchase order or the purchase confirmation, also to the mail [email protected], as long as there is no overdue balance in the customer’s credit.
  • Equipment, materials or products held in inventory will be shipped no later than two working days after receipt of payment.
  • For special manufacturing orders or orders that are not in stock, Carbotecnia will inform the time in which it will be able to ship.
  • The customer will pay the shipping costs and will be able to choose the carrier or parcel company of his preference.
  • If for any reason beyond Carbotecnia’s control, the order cannot be delivered within the established time limit, the customer will be notified.
  • Carbotecnia is not responsible for delays in delivery of products due to causes beyond its control, such as: delays of our suppliers, those that depend on the carrier, shortage of materials, strikes, fires or accidents of a natural nature.
  • Once the orders are delivered to the carrier or parcel company, the delivery of the product is the responsibility of the carrier or parcel company, the customer will have the option to purchase insurance.
  • If the customer (consignee) wishes the carrier or parcel company to assume responsibility for the value of the goods declared and to cover all types of risks, including those arising from acts of God or force majeure, an additional charge must be agreed upon, equivalent to the value of the insurance premium contracted.
  • When the order has been delivered to a carrier or parcel company, the customer will be informed of the tracking number electronically, so that it can be traced.
  • Shipping costs are not included in the quoted price, except when clearly specified otherwise.
  • The goods will be delivered to the address indicated by the customer and to the person who is present at that moment, and who shows an official identification. If no person is found at the address indicated,

(a) If the delivery service is performed by Carbotecnia, Carbotecnia will charge again for the next attempt;

(b) If the delivery service is performed by a carrier or parcel delivery company, the carrier or parcel delivery company will apply its policies.

  • When Carbotecnia personnel have omitted or caused an error in the delivery data, all extra expenses generated will be at the expense of the responsible party.
  • The customer must check well the material received and sign in conformity when it corresponds. IN CASE OF NOT BEING IN AGREEMENT WITH IT, HE MUST MAKE HIS COMPLAINT AT THE MOMENT OF RECEIVING, WRITE IN THE WAYBILL THE NONCONFORMITY AND PRESENT IN WRITING HIS COMPLAINT TO THE TRANSPORT OR PARCEL COMPANY WITHIN THE FOLLOWING 24 HOURS.
  • For imported products, delivery dates are estimates and depend on various factors beyond Carbotecnia’s control. Therefore, Carbotecnia will make reasonable efforts to meet them, but will not be responsible for them.

 

CLAIMS

 

  • Claims for any errors in the contents of packages shipped (whether missing materials, wrong parts, malfunctions, non-compliance with specifications, etc.) must be reported in writing to Carbotecnia no later than 30 calendar days after the date of the bill of lading or signature of receipt. The claim must be sufficiently detailed.
  • If Carbotecnia accepts the complaint, it will take the steps it deems necessary to resolve the problem as soon as possible.
  • If Carbotecnia does not accept the claim, it will ask the customer to return the package in order to verify the damage.
  • The customer will pay the shipping costs of the returned product. Once Carbotecnia receives the package, if it verifies that the claim is justified, it will reimburse the amount of the return shipping to the customer and will send the replacement merchandise.
  • If Carbotecnia, upon receipt of the package, considers that the reported damage did not merit the return, it will notify the customer, who will have to pay for the shipment again.

 

RETURNS

 

  • The customer must make any request to return an order in writing, stating the reasons.
  • Returns of regularly inventoried merchandise can be accepted, but returns of orders of merchandise that Carbotecnia needs to purchase or produce, or those corresponding to special projects, are not accepted.
  • Carbotecnia reserves the right to authorize any return.
  • The customer shall pay all shipping costs arising from the return authorized by Carbotecnia. In the event that the return has been made for reasons attributable to Carbotecnia, it will reimburse the amount of shipping to the customer.
  • The return must be in the original packaging.
  • On returns authorized by Carbotecnia, one of the following charges, whichever is greater, will be made:

(a) 20% of the invoiced value of the returned merchandise; or

(b) The sum of the expenses incurred by Carbotecnia before and after the return, including, but not limited to, the amount equivalent to materials, labor, administrative processes, engineering work, work in process and any other expenses incurred by Carbotecnia in connection with such order.

  • The refund will be made within a period that does not affect the liquidity of Carbotecnia, and by check or bank transfer payable to the name of the individual or entity that made the purchase.
  • The return of merchandise, including merchandise not normally inventoried by Carbotecnia, or special projects, will only be accepted for the following reasons:
  1. For defects
  2. Hidden defects, and
  3. Due to shipping error
    • The customer must send the goods together with all accessories, manuals and warranty policies.

 

WARRANTY

 

  • Carbotecnia directly guarantees the products it produces, for manufacturing defects. The warranty it grants on the products it distributes is the one offered by the manufacturer.
  • The warranty is considered valid only when the customer proves that the product has been used in accordance with the conditions for which it was designed.
  • The guarantee that Carbotecnia offers only applies to its direct customers and not to third parties.
  • No employee, agent or intermediary is authorized to give warranties on behalf of Carbotecnia.
  • The return shipment approved by Carbotecnia must be sent to Calle B 2105 Interior A, Colonia El Tigre, CP 45134, Zapopan, Jalisco, Mexico, freight paid by the customer.
  • As soon as Carbotecnia receives the goods, we will make an inspection. If the inspection complies with the conditions of the warranty, we will proceed to repair or exchange and reimburse the freight.
  • The only exceptions that are automatically NOT considered for warranties are: for glassware in the case of bulbs, quartz in the ultraviolet light systems and all electrical components of the systems, as these may suffer voltage variations during operation.

 

PAYMENT METHODS

 

  • The following payment methods are currently accepted
  1. In cash directly to the company for an amount not to exceed $10,000 pesos.
  2. Certified check.
  3. Credit or debit card directly at the company.
  4. Stripe, by credit or debit card. This payment method generates a 5% commission.
  5. MercadoPago; Oxxo and 7eleven. This payment method generates a 5% commission. The customer must ask the seller for the barcode in order to make the payment. This code is valid for 4 days.
  6. Bank deposits or electronic transfer (in pesos or foreign currency).

COLLECTION

 

  • All material or product ordered will be paid in cash, unless you have a current line of credit with no outstanding debts.

 

CREDIT

  • To obtain a line of credit you must first make three cash purchases, and follow the process described in the “Credit and Collection Policies”.  In the process of evaluation and possible credit authorization, the purchases will be cash purchases.
