Aquamatic K52 Series Valves

Made of materials resistant to typical chemicals used in water treatment, including acids and other corrosive elements.

Product images are demonstrative and may vary from the physical product.

Description

Aquamatic K52 Diaphragm valve for filter or softener

Y” design diaphragm valves from ½ inch to 2.5 inches. Fiberglass-filled thermoplastic body and cover.

Advantages

Large opening and high lift disc for higher flow rates with lower flow loss, designed for water treatment applications, for liquids handling acids and caustic and aggressive chemicals that would quickly corrode metal valves.

Separate flow and control chambers allow positive closure without springs; and only one nominal cost for spring-assisted opening for low-pressure, self-draining applications
Separate diaphragm chambers protect the diaphragm from the flow stream while allowing the valve to be maintained in-line.

Preformed, stress-relieved diaphragm minimizes wear, maximizes valve responsiveness and diaphragm life.
It can be operated with air or water.

Features and benefits of Aquamatic K52 valves

  • The unique Y-pattern design with large seat opening and high elevator disc allows higher flow rates at lower pressure than comparable valves.
  • All components can be serviced while the valve is online.
  • Separate flow and control chambers allow for positive, spring-less shutoff.
  • The pre-created, stress-relieved diaphragm minimizes fatigue, maximizes valve sensitivity and diaphragm life.
  • The diaphragm functions as an actuator, eliminating the need for electric or pneumatic actuators.
  • All internal parts in contact with the materials are made of composite materials.
  • The seals are made of ethylene propylene for greater chemical resistance.
  • K52 Series Valves are available in sizes from 1/2″ to 2.5″.
  • A variety of end fittings are available to make the valve compatible with pipe sizes from 3/8″ to 3″.
  • Adjustable to a wide variety of control devices.
