Description

Polydepth Pentek Cartridge Filters

Pentair Pentek Polydepth cartridge filtration filters are manufactured with thermally fused polypropylene microfibers to ensure high efficiency. This filter incorporates a rigid polypropylene core for durability and resistance to shrinkage. This microfiber construction has minimal fiber release, consistent flow rate and superior filtration performance. A cartridge that is neither fragile nor prone to breakage problems like resin fused cartridges.

Unique microgrooves provide additional surface area.

They impart no taste, odor or color to the liquid to be filtered, making them ideal for food and beverage applications. The recommended temperature limit of 40-175°F (4.4-79.4°C) allows it to be used in many hot water applications. In addition, the polypropylene construction provides greater chemical resistance and is not prone to bacterial attack.

Available in different lengths from 9.75″ to 40″. Unlike competitive cartridges, longer lengths are not manufactured by gluing shorter cartridges together. They are continuous cartridges that cannot be separated during use and do not sacrifice filtration surface area.

The data shown reflect the performance of 10″ cartridges. The pressure drop of the 20″, 30″ and 40″ cartridge can be approximately calculated by dividing the above psi by 2, 3 and 4, respectively, at the same flow rate.
