Polyspun 4.5″ polishing filters for water
Polyspun polishing filter. The sediment cartridges are made of polypropylene that is simultaneously spun and melted. This technique means that there is no central core to restrict filter performance.
Main benefits:
- Sediment filters are compatible with most liquids and are very effective in removing sediment, rust, sand, silt and algae.
- No chemical residues.
- They have high performance and withstand a high sediment load before requiring replacement.
- We chose to use these sediment filters over all other types because of their high performance, high flow rate, high loading capacity and inability to support bacterial growth. Suitable for filtering cooking oil.

BigBlue (BB) 4.5″ polyspun polishing filters have 4-layer filter technology with different micronage, outside to inside flow retaining larger particles in each of the layers, resulting in lower pressure drop compared to conventional filters, retaining particles of the specific size, layer by layer.
The main 2 benefits of polyspun polishing cartridges are their graduated density to avoid pressure drops and their 100% pure polypropylene fibers.
