Vitec® Avista antiscalants and dispersants are multi-compound formulations that allow the recovery of RO reverse osmosis system flows and reduce the frequency of cleaning.

Vitec antiscalants inhibit scaling and contribute to the dispersion of colloidal particles. The inhibition and dispersant properties of Vitec products help extend system run times, reduce cleaning frequency and increase the productive life of RO elements.

Description

Vitec 3000 | 4000 | 5100 | 7000 Avista

It is a powerful broad spectrum liquid antifouling and dispersing agent, compatible with organic coagulants. It is highly effective at low dose rates and in a wide range of waters.

This product is a multi-component Avista antiscalant that prevents scale precipitation and disperses colloidal particles in cellulose acetate and polyamide membrane systems. It is compatible with organic coagulants that may be present in feed waters indirectly or directly present as a result of coagulation or flocculation treatments of reverse osmosis (RO) system waters. Other applications for this product include seawater and brackish water for the production of municipal and industrial drinking water.

Vitec 3000 has been approved for use in drinking water production systems in the UK, according to DIN 15040, and by NSF International under NSF / ANSI 60.

Vitec 4000

It is a liquid antiscalant and dispersant that provides excellent silica scale inhibition and is useful in high silica water system recoveries.

This product is a multi-component formulation that prevents the precipitation of silica fouling at higher concentrations than typical antiscalants, a feature that can allow significantly increased membrane system recovery in high silica feed waters. Avista’s Vitec 4000 retains its performance even in reverse osmosis (RO) containing up to 4 mg/l of ferrous iron.

Vitec 4000 is approved for use in drinking water production systems in the UK, according to DIN 15040, and by NSF International under NSF / ANSI 60.

This multi-component formulation is aimed at preventing scale precipitation from industrial systems and is especially cost-effective in municipal reverse osmosis (RO) and seawater desalination plant applications.

Vitec 5100 Avista is compatible with our RoQuest® line of coagulants and certified by NSF International under NSF / ANSI 60 for use in potable water production systems.

Vitec® 7000

It is a multi-component liquid antiscalant and dispersant that provides a high level of sulfate inhibition and allows the recovery of reverse osmosis (RO) systems in difficult waters. Prevents calcium sulfate (CaSO4) from reaching precipitation, allowing up to 7 times saturation. The main application of this product is brackish water or sulfate-rich wastewater. It is successfully applied in industrial and municipal water treatment applications.

Vitec 7000 is approved for use in drinking water production systems in the UK England, is formulated with ingredients approved for use in European drinking water systems and by NSF International under NSF/ANSI 60.
