Description
Parker’s PROPOR MR mycoplasma removal cartridge filter PROPOR MR
PROPOR MR mycoplasma removal filters are devices designed for the biopharmaceutical industry with a filtration value of 0.1 microns, which makes them effective in the fast and effective removal of mycoplasma.
It has a pre-filtration layer for higher flow capacity. This results in a faster process with a lower risk of contamination.
High flow options are available.
(PFAS-free models available)

Retention of LRV > 10 of Acholeplasma laidlawii
The filter can reduce the concentration of Acholeplasma laidlawii by a factor of more than 10 orders of magnitude. (LVR > 10) So you have a high control of mycoplasma contamination.
Pre-filter layer to simplify processing
Including a pre-filtration layer protects the polyethersulfone (PES) layer and can condense the filtration train, resulting in less maintenance and cost savings.
Validated and tested filters.
Its suitability for biopharmaceutical applications has been validated by testing, as has its integrity in maintaining the sterility of the filtration process.
PROPOR MR filter applications for mycoplasma removal
PROPOR MR by 0.1 micron polyethersulfone (PES) media has been validated to meet the industry standard test for Brevundamonas diminuta and also with Acholeplasma laidlawii, a type of mycoplasma present in contaminated cell cultures.
