Description
The Parker PROPOR HC sterilizing filtration cartridge PROPOR HC
Parker’s PROPOR HC filters are designed for filtration of pharmaceutical and biological solutions with high capacity performance and capacity to ensure the sterilization process and prevent premature filter blockage.
PROPOR HC sterilizing filtration cartridges can handle large volumes of fluid with low levels of extractables.
The polyethersulfone (PES) membrane is highly chemically compatible and has the characteristic of low adhesion. This minimizes product loss due to the low adhesion of proteins and preservatives in the filtered liquids.
(PFAS-free models available)

Superior performance compared to other options
Compared to conventional single-layer filter membranes, the optimized PES membrane can more effectively filter out impurities, enabling up to ten times higher performance.
Integrated pre-filtration layer
Thanks to the pre-filtration layer, filtration stages can be reduced, simplifying and condensing the process. This results in economic savings in maintenance costs and filtration consumables.
Sterilizing filtration of 0.2 microns
The 0.2 micron membrane is effective in retaining microorganisms, resulting in a sterile pharmaceutical product free of biological contaminants.
The membrane has been validated for sterility and integrity testing.
Sterilizing Filtration Cartridge Applications
The polyethersulfone (PES) membrane of the PROPOR HC sterilizing filter cartridges has a pre-filtration membrane in its configuration that prevents premature blockage of the filter when used for complex applications with difficult-to-filter or viscous fluids in the pharmaceutical industry. This results in economical processing thanks to optimized performance.
