GAC granular activated carbon filter
Activated carbon cartridges are best for reducing unwanted tastes, odor, flavor and color of drinking water.

They are designed to allow maximum contact between water and carbon, ensuring maximum absorption. The characteristics of activated carbon cartridges allow water to enter at one end and pass through the entire length of the carbon bed before exiting the cartridge.
At the outlet of the cartridge there is a filtering mesh that prevents the exit of fine granules of activated carbon or other particles in suspension from the filtered water.
The post-filter is securely fastened to a basket to ensure that it is securely fastened and to prevent any possibility of drift. The GAC is available in various sizes and flow rates to provide good filtration of drinking water.
GAC filters use high purity coconut shell carbon, may also include resins and/or KDF (a substance known to be an excellent filter media for the removal of volatile organic chemicals, radon, chlorine, bad tastes and odors).
