Get to know our industrial filter cartridges

A variety of food and beverage filters are used in the industry for the filtration of water, fluids and liquids needed to produce a variety of consumable products. These food and beverage filters are designed and manufactured in such a way as to ensure quality standards and safety of the final product.

Likewise, a specialized food and beverage filter allows compliance with the regulations established by law.

Pre-filtration

Initial barrier to retain particles of considerable size, sediments and visible elements that are not desired in the liquid. The pre-filtration process protects the components, as well as the food and beverage filters applied in the rest of the process.

Clarification

Filtration of finer particles to improve appearance. In this application, the beverage and food filter for clarification removes turbidity and colloids. These filters help ensure that the final product has a clean and attractive appearance, free of suspended particles.

Bioburden reduction

Bioburden reduction focuses on reducing the total amount of microorganisms present in a product or ingredient. The objective is to reduce the risk of contamination and improve the overall stability of the product, but not necessarily to ensure sterility.

Microbial stabilization

Food and beverage filters with very small pore membranes are used to retain microorganisms, yeasts and bacteria, which prevents spoilage and extends the shelf life of the final product without altering its characteristics through the use of preservatives. This process is specifically prior to packaging.

3M brand filtration cartridges for the food and beverage industry.

BetaPure AU

Betapure™ AU cartridge filters from 3M™ are ideal for applications requiring high precision contaminant removal, including but not limited to coatings, industrial process, chemical and petrochemical. Betapure AU (polypropylene/polypropylene) series filters are manufactured from FDA CFR-21 compliant materials, making them suitable for applications in the food and beverage industry.
