UVmax Features:

Equipped to inactivate chlorine resistant parasites like Cryptosporidium and Giardia, harmful bacteria like E. Coli and not viruses visible to the naked eye.

Lamps and sleeves are assembled together for ease of handling. They can be replaced separately, in a matter of minutes and without the need for tools.

The UVMax Trojan Viqua reactor is an axial flow design, with superior hydraulics, compact design and ¾ ", 1", 1 1/4 "and 2" NPT, in stainless steel 304 and 316L depending on the model. The Controller offers LED indicators and audible alarms that can be silenced if necessary. The system comes equipped with a two-part quartz sleeve and lamp attached as one piece for ease of handling.

Water is a resource that all of us tend to take for granted. We turn on the shower, the kitchen faucet, and the garden hose and outside it pours an endless supply of fresh, clean water. What many of us do not realize, however, is that our water supply is not a never ending feed and it is not as clean as it may seem. Chlorine is popularly used but it is not able to effectively kill some of the harmful bacteria found in water. Exposure to certain harmful bacteria can cause serious gastrointestinal illness and even death in people with compromised immune systems.

Ultraviolet (UV) technology is more effective than chemicals in destroying certain water contaminants without altering the taste of the water. This makes it a practical process for treating water used for drinking and food preparation.

There are no by-products of disinfection with the use of UV, making it safe and chemical-free. Furthermore, UV does not alter the chemistry of the water and its components, such as pH, taste, smell or color.
