Stenner adjustable metering pumps are built with three removable components: the motor, the flow control and the hydraulic body. The output flow depends on three factors: the number of revolutions of the motor, the percentage setting on the control of the feeding frequency and the size of the peristaltic pump tube. All Stenner metering pumps have a 3-point design: check valve, which acts as a check valve to prevent backflow, siphon to prevent over-dosing and loss of prime.
The motor shaft rotates at fixed revolutions, which actuate the adjustable feed frequency control, to intermittently dispense within the pump head. The chemical solution in the pump tube is captured between the rollers as they rotate and compress the tube. With the roller advance, the squeeze tube section returns to its original shape and generates a vacuum, creating the self-priming function delivers a constant flow affected by the outlet pressure.
