Applications:
- Domestic and commercial hydropneumatic systems.
- Ideal for coastal areas.
- Water purification systems.
Greater resistance against:
- Outdoor applications Sun exposure and ultraviolet (UV) rays
- Saline climate and humidity
- Acid rain
- Corrosion.
CONSTRUCTION CHARACTERISTICS
Carbon steel outer cover and high quality welding process.
Parabolic type diaphragm design, less fatigue more durability.
It has a 304 stainless steel elbow, polypropylene internal cover and rubber and butyl molded diaphragm so that water never comes into contact with the parts subject to corrosion.
Very resistant plastic base designed to withstand high impact, according to the ASTM D2794 standard. Metal construction preload valve.
OPERATING CHARACTERISTICS
- Maximum working pressure: 100 psi
- Working temperature: 49 ° C.
- Maximum ambient temperature: 52 ° C
- Factory precharge pressure: 38 psi.
Designed to withstand outdoor applications and where moisture can penetrate standard paint coatings applied to conventional steel tanks, producing corrosion. Covered with a highly corrosion resistant automotive ULTRA UV zinc powder based “sacrificial” paint which provides a self-protective backing. Should the coating become damaged, the zinc prevents the steel from corroding. They resist ultraviolet (UV) rays in sunlight that fade the original color of paint used in conventional steel tanks and also crack and chip fiber-built tanks. Saline exposure tested per ASTM B117-73 for twice as long as standard tanks.
