OptiClean ™ Powdered Membrane Cleaners integrate the latest biodegradable polyelectrolyte formulations to effectively remove inorganic and organic soils from 'Hoy' thin film composite polyamide and cellulose acetate membranes. Cleaner mixes quickly and easily in solution to form a liquid mix that vigorously releases membrane fouling without damaging the membrane surface. OptiClean ™ S is a low pH cleaner developed specifically for the removal of silica scale. The specific OptiClean ™ S formulation re-dissolves stubborn silica scale to minimize downtime and loss of production due to decreased membrane performance. Used in a program that includes an alkaline cleaner for the removal of colloids and organics, this highly efficient product offers excellent foulant removal resulting in system and sometimes increased membrane life expectancy.
