The domestic Reverse Osmosis Purifier has the following stages:
Stage 1 - 5 micron pre-filtration for sediments, mechanical reduction of rust and particles, and provides membrane protection.
STAGE 2 - pre-treatment filter with granular activated carbon.
STAGE 3 - Block activated carbon cartridge for the reduction of flavors, odors, chlorine, and organic impurities.
STAGE 4 - Reverse osmosis membrane composed of thin film for the reduction of dissolved solids, including the range of toxic heavy metals, in addition to Giardia and Cryptosporidium cysts.
STAGE 5 - In-line activated carbon post-cartridge for final polishing of bad tastes and odors.
Maintenance: Pre and post filters recommend changing every 8 to 12 months during regular use.
RO Reverse Osmosis Membrane: Change is recommended based on periodic TDS rejection testing is every two years.

The purifier retains suspended particles larger than 5 microns (solids, amoebas, etc.). It removes organic contaminants, including those that give flavor, odor and color.
Among the main groups of pollutants are pesticides, detergents, hydrocarbons, fats and oils. In addition, it removes free chlorine and prevents the growth of microorganisms in the cartridge (bacteria).
Cartridge life: 8 to 12 months
