AZUD HELIX LCM equipment ebbs without any interruption of the water supply to the harvest. The backwash is sequential:
One filter is in the backwash stage while the rest of the equipment is in the filtration stage, supplying water to the facility.
FILTRATION STAGE: The propeller generates a centrifugal helical effect that moves away from the disks of the particles in the water. This translates into less frequency and intensity of maintenance work, with the consequent saving of water. Through the discs the deep filtration process is carried out. Water Flow STAGE: When the operator changes the position of the two backwash manual actuation valves the filtered water enters the filter in the opposite direction through the filter element structure. The solids previously retained during the filtration stage are expelled from the discs and discharged out through the collector drain.
