Membrane Antifouling

Reverse osmosis membrane antiscalants.
Antifoulants work by inhibiting the formation of mineral salts and other compounds that can precipitate and form scale on RO membranes. They do this by interfering with the crystallization process of these compounds, either by modifying their structure or by preventing their growth. In addition to preventing the formation of crystals, antiscalants also help disperse particles already formed, preventing them from accumulating on the membrane surface and causing blockages. Antifoulants are formulated to be compatible with other chemicals used in RO systems, such as biocides and cleaners, ensuring comprehensive membrane protection.
