There are two types of special activated carbons:
A) EXTRA PURE: They are carbons that are subject to specific purifying processes because of the way of applying shouldn’t release the compounds and salts that a virgin carbon has for standard use like water potabilization.
These carbons are:
CARBO-HEAL |
Activated carbon that complies with the specifications of the U.S.P and that we provide as raw material for pharmaceutical laboratories to ttreat severe poisoning. |
PURE-CARB |
Edible grade for the manufacturing of cheese in ash form or pills for cases of indigestion, flatulence and bad breath. |
ASH-FREE CARBON |
These carbons present an ignition temperature very superior to a standard carbon which allows to use them in solvent recovery; this is due to their low level of ash. |
B) B) MODIFIED SURFACE: They are carbons that retain substances that a standard activated carbon can’t adsorb.
Estos carbones son:
BIOSTAT |
Impregnated with metallic silver as a bacteriostatic agent. |
CARVAPUR |
For the purifying of air and gas. |
VAPACID |
To chemically adsorb acid gases. |
CARVACID |
To retain organic vapor. |
CARVAPOX |
To chemically adsorb oxidizing organic molecules (alcohol, aldehides and alquenes).
VAPAMÓN |
To chemically adsorb ammonia and amina of low molecular weight. |
VAPOMER |
To chemically adsorb mercury vapor. |
CARVAQ |
To use with breathers against chemical weapons.. |
CARBORO |
To recover gold. |
