The presence of foul odors or harmful molecules in the air is a very common problem in the industry, stores and public places. Most of the times, these molecules are present in very low concentrations.
It could seem otherwise because the nose is very sensitive and can perceive the mwith much intensity.
Carbofiber was designed to solve this problem. It consists in a polyester fiber impregnated with activated carbon of high quality coconut shell.
The fiber allows very low pressure drop.
It purifies air much faster than a regular activated carbon due to its kinetic adsorption.
It doesn’t require resistant structural support and it is very easy to install in any air handling system.
Carbofiber can be used impregnated with special carbons to retain other compounds that do not retain a standard activated carbon. For instance, bacteriostatic carbons that avoid the development of microorganisms or to adsorb acid gas, alkalines or organic molecules.
